Emily started karate at the JKS North Shore Karate club in 2010 at the  age of 10 years old.

She has progressed over the years and grown up to be a fine student.

Emily achieved the rank of Junior Shodan in Sept 2016 under the examination of Sensei's Copper Drent, Phil Wilson and Trevor Foster

Emily has also achieved numerous accolades, Including winning gold medals in the Auckland Open in the  Development and intermediate Category for her age group and in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and many more placing in both kata and kumite
