Emio started karate at the JKS North Shore Karate club in 2009 at the tender age of 7 years old.

He has progressed over the years and grown up to be a fine student.

Emio achieved the rank of Junior Shodan in Sept 2013 under the examination of Shihan Yamaguchi.

Emio has now achieved the rank of NI-DAN (2nd Dan) in OCT 2017 under the examination of Kagawa Masao Shuseki Shihan (9th Dan) 

He has also achieved numerous accolades, Including Auckland Open Development Champion for his age and in 2010&2011 and many more placing in both kata and kumite
