Refrences from the parents on their children and the development they have noticed.

"In the time that Jamie has trained at JKS North Shore, I have seen an enormous increase in his self confidence. As adults and children all train together, Jamie has become confident in his ability to relate to others of all ages and abilities, which has had a positive impact on many areas of his life. The personal interest that Sensei Sean takes in his students has really encouraged Jamie to believe in himself and to aim for his best at all times. He has seen that the effort he puts into his karate determines what he gets out of it - a lesson that carries through to all facets of life."

"Since starting Karate  8 months ago we have noticed a real improvement in Alec's confidence, and respect for adults, and for his peers. On the physical side he has improved his co-ordination significantly which is helping with his other sports.

The biggest lesson he has learnt, and his continuing to learn, is that if you practice and try hard you can achieve your goals. Obviously this is a great  lesson that can be applied to all aspects of life.

Finally, Alec himself loves it. Is having fun. And is keen to get to Karate every week. Surely one of the most important things for a 6 year old boy."

"Many thanks to you Sean and Club members. Calvin.jpg
In the time Calvins' been at Karate he's noticably grown in confidence and maturity. He did have a spatial awareness issue this is now gone.  He's become more self motivated and as a result his schooling has really improved.  Also thanks for being great role models young boys need more of this."
